Staying up to date on required certifications and current search and rescue techniques is one way Wolfpack SAR ensures we provide efficient and effective services to our communities. Attending a training seminar can cost an individual volunteer upwards of $500 or more depending on the length of the seminar and location. Hosting seminars for our team members, while more cost effective, often requires us to incur additional expenses such as travel, lodging and food for our instructors.
Certifications & Training Seminars Fund
Training seminars and certifications are a critical tool for the search and rescue community. Wolfpack Sar team members are required to attend training seminars and obtain/maintain several certifications, including but not limited to CPR/AED/First Aid, K9 First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, Crime Scene Preservation and Search Management to be a deployable resource. This fund allows us to host speakers and trainers to ensure our volunteers remain knowledgeable resources without the need for them to incur the cost.
